Juergen Sommer- Director of Soccer Operations

Juergen will be responsible for all Carmel FC programming and will also play a major role consulting in CDC recreation soccer programs.  He brings with him high level coaching experience having served as assistant coach for the Men’s National team for the World Cup, Copa America, and Gold Cup tournaments.  In 2013 Juergen was named Director of Soccer and Head Coach of the Indy Eleven. As a player, he has 8 years’ experience in the European professional league, where he enjoyed international acclaim as a player with Luton Town Football Club and Queen’s Park Rangers Football Club where he was the first American to play in the coveted English Premier League and was named Goalkeeper of the Year in 1993.  Juergen’s playing career also encompassed playing with the Columbus Crew and New England Revolution where he was an MLS Allstar.  In addition, Juergen’s acclaimed playing career also included representing the United States Men’s National Team over a 14 year period playing World Cups in 1994 and 1998.  As a college player, Juergen was a four year letterman and captain for the Indiana University Soccer team and was a 1988 Division 1 National Champion, Defensive MVP of the 1988 NCAA Championships and was 1990 National Player of the Year in College Soccer. 

Jeremy Slivinski - General Manager

Jeremy Slivinski has been a coach for the 2005 Boys Program in Carmel FC for 8 years and overall has been coaching soccer for almost 12 years.  He also has provided coaching support to the 2004 and 2009 Boys Programs with experience coaching Academy level all the way up to National League. 

He holds a provisional National C coaching license and has completed various other coaching certification programs. Jeremy grew up playing soccer and continued through college at club level.  His employment background is in non-profit management specializing in membership associations, volunteer support and charitable activities. He has two sons whom play on our 2005 and 2009 Boys teams respectively.  His wife is a soccer referee and also a team manager.

In his role with the club Jeremy serves as the lead volunteer that works with the Director of Soccer Operations and the Director of Coaching and represents Carmel FC's interests to Carmel Dads' Club.  He also serves as Carmel FC's voting representative to Indiana Soccer and on the leadership group for the Northwest Metro Conference.  His service to Soccer extends beyond club by serving on the Board of Directors for the Indiana Soccer Foundation.

Ada Quinoy- Administrative Director

Ada Quiñoy-Ortiz, a Puerto Rican native, has been involved with Carmel FC since 2011 when she became the team manager for the first academy boys team.  Since then, she has been the team manager for several teams in the club.  In 2012 she stepped up to help the club with tryouts and other administrative duties, such as the management of GotSoccer and guiding other team managers.  Ada holds a degree in Restaurant, Hotel, Institutional and Tourism Management from Purdue University with a minor in Club Management.  Later she worked in the public school system as an Instructional Assistant helping kids that have English as a Second Language and helped the school system with translations.  She is married to Mark Stumpf, also a coach with Carmel FC, and has two kids.  The oldest is currently in the CDC rec soccer program and the youngest daughter plays in the 2005 Girls team.

Ada provides oversight in all administrative activities of the club.  This includes GotSoccer and TeamSnap management, organizing tryouts, training team managers, and the uniform program.
